Restorying BC: Stories of Migration and Heritage

Celebrating the Plurality, Inclusivity, and Connectivity of British Columbia’s Multicultural Landscape

"Restorying BC" is a collection of 25 stories of migration and immigrant heritage that reflect BC's increasingly diverse population. This project is produced by the PCHC-MOM.

Our project seeks to use personal stories to highlight the plurality, inclusivity, and connectivity of the multicultural landscape in British Columbia. Through intimate narratives of courage, adaptation, and community building, we celebrate the individuals and families who have shaped our province's cultural identity.

Each story represents a unique journey - from the challenges of starting over in a new country to the triumphs of building thriving businesses and communities. Together, these narratives create a powerful testament to the strength and resilience that immigration brings to British Columbia.

We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia through the 150 Time Immemorial Grant Program.
