Come join us for an afternoon of Black Empowerment and Black Excellence with speakers of Black/African/Caribbean descent who will share their professional, personal, and community experiences and stories. Let’s celebrate these Black Sheroes + Heroes for shining the light on truth and illuminating the path forward for us to become active allies in dismantling Anti-Black Racism at individual, institutional and systemic levels. We will also hear from Capilano University students on their learnings and perspectives on the importance of honouring Black History Month.
