Free: guided tours of "Across the Pacific" exhibition
Did you know that there is a restored 1920 village in Burnaby? It is inside the Burnaby Village Museum which currently houses the “Across the Pacific” exhibition that explores the deep roots Chinese-Canadians planted in Burnaby.
PCHC-MoM is very pleased to have the curator Denise Fong personally guide us through the exhibition. As she can only take 15 persons at a time, we have requested her to provide separate guided tours for us at the following times:
- 1. August 16 (Fri.) at 2pm – in English
- 2. August 17 (Sat.) at 10:30am – in English (before the weekend crowd is admitted)
- 3. August 17 (Sat.) at 11am - in Cantonese (already over-subscribed; included here for info only)
Registered guests will be admitted as a group 10 minutes before the tour at the main entrance to the Burnaby Village Museum (at Canada Way & Sperling).
Please reserve your spot by replying to (https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/across-the-pacific-exhibition-a-guided-tour-in-english-tickets-68064664243) as soon as possible.
