Welcome Amador Astudillo!
The Pacific Canada Heritage Centre – Museum of Migration Society would like to warmly welcome its newest board member, Amador Astudillo!Amador Astudillo was born and raised in the Philippines and is the first generation in his family to reside in Canada. Upon acquiring his Bachelor’s degree from the University of the Philippines and his MBA from the University of Michigan, Amador embarked on a management career in the Philippines, and continues to do so in Canada. He also holds professional designations in accounting and project management. He currently is a member of the Client Advisory Committee of MOSAIC, a nonprofit supporting immigration and refugee settlement and integration in BC. After arriving in Canada in 2008, Amador discovered the large Filipino presence in the country, and realized the exciting possibility of making their stories part of the rich fabric of Canada’s migrant history. He is glad to join PCHC-MoM, which allows him to do just that.Welcome to the team, Amador!
